Do haters have a problem with shakira joining j.lo?

MIAMI - Once again the Super Bowl half time announcement for this year's half time game has created some controversy. Super Bowl LIV has officially announced that these two pop divas will join forces for what will surely be a spectacular half time show.

The only trouble is that there has been a bit of a rumble who don't feel that Shakira is worthy of joining Ms. Lopez in such a high profile show. After all J.LO has been having quite a year or so.

At the 2018 MTV awards last year, the diva crushed it with her mind blowing medley that let the world know she's still the queen. And at 50 years old the vixen just finished a successful Vegas residency, starred in the romantic comedy “Second Act,” and is possibly on course for an Oscar nomination for her spicy role in “Hustlers.”

To be fair, Shakira has had some monster musical hits including “Whenever, Wherever,” “Hips Don’t Lie” and “She Wolf.” But the naysayers are crying foul play. For instance, New York Post writer, Chuck Arnold wrote, " I had to rub my eyes a few times in disbelief that Lopez wasn’t simply headlining on her own. But every time I opened them back up, Shaki was still there, looking awkwardly inserted into the picture, as if by a bad Photoshop job. "
